BIPA CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL IN CELEBRATION OF BANGOBONDHU'S CENTENNIAL 2020

The Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA) is holding a children's festival in celebration for the 100th birthday of Bangobondhu, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The festival will consist of 3 key events:
1. The Talent Search
A number of children will be selected based on their talent in singing, dancing, and poem recitation. Children of all ages up to 18 years are eligible to participate. The selected participants will get the chance to be a part of a special performance at the main show on March 14th, in honor of Bangobondhu's 100th Birthday.

There is also an essay writing/PowerPoint Presentation/Project Display option for interested participants. The Project Display can be a poster board or
tri-fold display board. Submissions will be due by January 31st. The selected PowerPoint/Project Display will be presented in final event on March 14th and 15th. The best essay will be published in the BIPA Children's Festival Publication.
* Essay and PowerPoint submissions must be emailed to bipa.children.festival@gmail.com by January 31st at 11:59 PM.
There will be open drop-off sites for the Project Display submissions on January 31st (locations will be updated soon).
**Detailed information on the requirements for dancing, singing, poetry, and essay writing/presentations is under Register Now tab of the website.**
2. Children's Art Exhibition
After an initial painting workshop for the children, each participant will paint a picture on the topic of "Bangobondhu and Bangladesh".
3. Reception, Video documentary, and open mic about Bangobondhu
On March 15th, all participants of the Talent Search will be rewarded with an amazing dinner. The children's paintings on the topic of "Bangobondhu and Bangladesh" will also be displayed.
